Elon isn’t done as he vows to remove “corrupt” blue checks from before he took over. This comes with mixed reactions as many wonder if users still care.

His first move was to fire Twitter’s top leadership, including its CEO and CFO, but don’t worry, they’re walking away A-Okay.
The deal ended the saga of whether Musk will or would not buy the company after he tried to back away from the purchase.
Musk changed his profile to Chief Twit. There are concerns that he’ll change the social media platform’s guidelines on hate speech, which has much thinking he’ll lift the ban on Former President Donald Trump.
It’s only been two weeks, and changes are happening so fast that not even the remaining employees can keep up because it’s a matter of whether they’re in or out. Musk hasn’t changed his brash ways of communicating via Twitter, including the on-and-off $8 verification subscription for Twitter blue and the short-lived gray badge.
The latest layoffs were contractors hired to moderate content. It’s unclear how many people are affected by this latest round of layoffs and what this will mean for monitoring hate speech and misinformation.
Twitter is a fast-moving hour-by-hour change, and it’s going to take weeks, it appears, before it’s clear what the new Twitter will be, assuming it doesn’t implode prior.
