Shanghai’s Disney Resort suddenly suspended operations Monday to comply with strict COVID-19 preventative measures. Park visitors were told they would have to stay in the park till they had negative test results. Visitors were not allowed to enter or exit, and visitors who had visited the park since October 27th were told to test three times in three days.
It wasn’t all bad; depending on what lens you’re looking through, the park continued to operate rides for stuck visitors.
These measures comply with Chinese health authorities’ strict COVID-19 mandates, one of the strictest in the world, whereas most countries have little to no measures in place.
It is unknown how many visitors are at the resort.
